Stopped by Lake Merritt on my way home yesterday and knocked out a quick sketch of a plump member of our local flying cattle herd. This is actually a composite of a number of geese, as none of the buggers was prepared to sit still.
I should definitely do this more often.
Man that is an awesome sketch Jamie, you could have fooled me- it totally looks as if a single goose was laying there posing for you. Great job compositing my friend, Very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteCheers Leo! The geese were moving about so much that I was barely able to complete a quick sketch before my model took off. There were plenty of other geese around me, though, so I just used them for reference.
